At the British Music Experience we strive to be as sustainable as possible, by taking the following actions:

Using compostable takeaway cups for our hot drinks at both of our Café locations
Washing and reusing crockery and cutlery in the Star Café
Using recyclable Merch Store and Star Café bags
Reducing plastic packaging wherever possible
Working with local suppliers wherever possible
Using dual flush toilets to reduce water usage
Having a paperless ticketing system and minimising printing wherever possible
Being part of the building-wide recycling programme for all the museum waste
Using sustainable and recycled materials whenever possible for exhibition displays
Using LED A/V and lighting equipment
