In Conversation with Andy Scott

We're currently celebrating 70 years of the UK Singles Charts, and January 2023 marks 50 years since The Sweet stormed to the top of the charts with Block Buster!  –  one of the defining songs of the Glam era, and a truly great UK No.1. The Sweet would go on to have two more massive hits in 1973 in Hell Raiser and Ballroom Blitz, and were regulars in the upper reaches of the Official Singles Chart.

To mark the occasion - and to look back across a career which stretches back six decades – we are being joined by The Sweet’s guitarist and award-winning songwriter Andy Scott for an evening in-conversation.

​

Andy has just finished a UK tour with the band and will be reflecting on almost 60 years of performing in front of audiences in Britain, Europe and beyond. It promises to be a fascinating evening.
